Technical inspection or scrutineering on the Tour of Portugal is fairly minimal. We expect your bike to be road legal to do the event with FIM Enduro tyres (no MX tyres are allowed). We will check each day that your GPS tracking is working at the start but it is the sole responsibility of the rider to wire in the GPS and make sure this is secure and the connection remains for the duration of the event.
It is also the riders responsibility to make sure his navigation is operational and working correctly, this includes the Tour riders with a GPS track.
Any bike that is deemed unroadworthy will not be permitted to start.
Riders have a simple insurance as part of the entry fee that pertains to road useage.
